Richard Branson has announced that he’ll be opening a new luxury game reserve in Kenya.
The rebel billionaire has invested a lot in Kenya, and not just in business, but also in charity, with the Free the Children foundation.
The Virgin boss –whose net worth Forbes estimated at $4.2 billion in March on the World’s Billionaires list — made the announcement to delegates at the inaugural Convergence Africa business conference, which took place in Nairobi late last week.
Branson also voiced his frustration with the maddening traffic jams that are characteristic of Nairobi. But he still remained positive about Africa’s future, saying that the country is growing fast, if only good leadership were in place.
